Visiting the bustling Great Market Hall, marveling at the historic monuments in Hero’s Square, and finally enjoying drinks and meals in the festive atmosphere of the Christmas Market at St. Stephen’s Basilica.
Royal Riding HallThe rebuilt Royal Riding Hall is one of the most impressive buildings of the Buda Castle, surrounded by the also renovated Csikós Courtyard, which can be an excellent outdoor venue for events. On Tuesday evening it will host our main gala event, complete with catered services and entertainment.

In December, Budapest’s weather is typically cold, with average temperatures ranging from -1°C to 5°C. Snow is possible, and it can be quite windy and damp. Clothes recommended to pack: warm coat, sweaters, thermal layers, hat, scarf, gloves, waterproof boots, warm socks.

The easiest and most reliable option is to request a taxi at the hotel reception, which will then be charged to your room and covered by Intersnack. A reliable taxi company in Budapest is Főtaxi. You can contact them via their app downloaded from any app store or via their phone number +36 1 222 2222. We also recommend you to use Bolt or Uber, available for download from any app store.
Both grocery store and tobacco shop are a short 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel entrance, the pharmacy is an easy 10 minutes walk. In case you need general medicine (e.g. painkillers, bandage, etc.) you can ask at the reception during the night as well.
